Cut&Paste was first born in New York City back in 2005 where 850 people attended the first live digital design tournament. Cut&Paste is now bigger then ever and drawing new faces every year. Cut&Paste was created to bring attention to all the amazing anonymous designers you never hear about.

Artists come to show off their skills, recruiters and clients come to check out the hot new design talent and audiences gather to watch the designers work their magic live.

The great thing about this growing global design tournament is the ability to watch these artists design live. You get to see the whole creative process from start to finish which is something you don’t often see when studying design. Not only is Cut & Paste a great learning experience but I hear it’s a hell of a lot of fun. They just had the New York tournament near me and the next Cut & paste tournament is located in Los Angeles on October 13th.

The tournament will be web cast globally in real time for the Cut&Paste Audience. On and off site tournament viewers can vote via SMS to decide who will win the Adobe® Creative Suite 3 Master Collection Suite Audience Prize. A judging panel will decide the Cut&Paste overall champion and that champion will be awarded a newly released Wacom Cintiq® interactive display.

Cut&Paste has teamed up with Adobe to bring this great live digital design tournament to six cities in the US (Boston, Chicago, Los Angeles, New York City, Portland, San Francisco) and five other cities across Europe and Asia (Berlin, Hong Kong, London, Sydney, Tokyo).
