Burton Morris Interview – Pop Art Artist

Hello Mr. Morris, thanks for taking the time to speak with us. To start, may you please tell us a little about yourself and what you do?

I am a post pop artist. I love to paint, draw and create imagery and icons that relate to popular culture. My influences were cartoons, comic books and engravings. I enjoy using a lot of color in my paintings, especially bold colors that stand out along with very expressive energy like marks that help bring elements or objects I draw to life.

Russell Tate Interview – Designer & Illustrator

Hello Mr. Tate, thanks for taking the time to speak with us. To start, could you tell us a little about yourself and what you do?

I am a Designer / Illustrator and I run my own company MT-Generator.com.au. I was freelance for a number of years but now work from an office at home with my wife. She is an art director and we sometimes work on projects together. Currently 75% of my work is illustration via the internet.

Graphic Design Terms

A

Acrobat A product developed by Adobe systems to create PDF (Portable Document Format) files. Acrobat is an independent means of creating, viewing and printing documents.

Airbrush A propellant using compressed air that to spray a liquid, such as paint, and ink.Often used in used in illustration and photo retouching.

Alignment is the adjustment of arrangement or position in lines of a text or an image; left, right, centered, etc.
