When designing a logo it is important to make sure that the logo can function in multiple environments. This means that your logo design should still look good when its very small or very large. Sometimes we forget this because we get so caught up in the design process. Now I’m not saying complicated and detailed logos are forbidden, there is just a time and a place for certain types of designs.

Ephemera is a term used to describe every day printed items such as flyers, pamphlets, business cards, ticket stubs, magazines and anything of that nature. At first I would just look for inspiration online, but I soon realized having physical items to look at is so much better, especially for ephemera such as Print Business Cards. It truly helps to be able to feel the texture and weight of the paper and really examine how the ephemera was printed.
If you browse the Internet as much as me you probably have come across a standard sales letter website. We want to apologize to everyone for the downtime last night, a reader was kind enough to submit one of our article to digg.com and it ended up hitting the front page which brought so much traffic to the site it knocked down our servers for a while. We worked very hard to get them back up and we finally seem to be back to normal. We will be upgrading our servers soon and making several changes to prevent downtime from happening again. Thanks for your patience!
Even though this video isn’t graphic design related I thought it was really well done and a very effective advertisement. It’s also very viral and I admire its overall quality!
