If you know of Blizzard Entertainment, there is a good chance that the main reason you are familiar with them is because of their famous game World of Warcraft, which has over eight million subscribers world-wide, and continues to grow on a daily basis. In other words, the people have spoken - and the people are more than pleased.
So what exactly helps them be so noteworthy among a veritable sea of other companies? Well, a large part of the success of the games is due to the incredible team of graphic designers, 3D artists and web designers.
Their websites and mini-sites are incredibly detailed and have amazing flash elements that blend seamlessly into the website that produces a heightened enjoyment of visiting said websites. A great example of the talent at Blizzard Entertainment nowadays is showcased with the release of a mini-site for the upcoming game expansion for World of Warcraft called the Wrath of the Lich King.
