We just launched a new graphic design forum called yourdesignforums.com I think it will be a great place for members of this community to discuss topics, learn and discover new resources. You guys are the first to know about this new website and I hope you will all join the community.
We finally transfered the server so the site might be acting a little funky for a bit, please contact us if there are any problems or errors. Also I seem to have lost my last post about the graphic design forums in the transfer so I will be republishing it, thanks all!
Beautiful/Decay Magazine is well known for promoting both emerging and established artists alike through it’s publication and now, clothing line. The Beautiful/Decay apparel line gives visual artists the chance to have their work showcased to a large audience.

This very handy book pays tribute to the “grid” and reminds us how important structure is to good graphic design. A well structured grid is an important start to many designs and The Designer’s Toolkit comes with a CD embedded in the book’s cover that includes 500 ready-to-use grid templates formatted for the most commonly used design programs.
The Designer’s Toolkit template CD and book is a great step towards effective, original, and sophisticated design.

We are going to get a new server soon from Media Temple, so the site could be down for a day or two depending on how long it takes for the transfer to complete. Please don’t be alarmed if the site is down for a while as we upgrade our server, because we will be back stronger than ever!
I also want to let you guys know that we have a totally custom blog template in the works. I had no idea You the Designer would grow so fast and I think its time we switched from a modified free WordPress template to a totally custom template to let people know we mean business! We hope you guys will like the new layout and you can expect to see it released sometime in January.
I want to thank you all for reading You the Designer and I look forward to its continued growth!
