New Mac Pro Arrived - 8 Core Beast!

The new Mac Pro has arrived at wwww.apple.com and it is a beast! It always amazes me how fast Apple kicks out new hardware, it’s almost too fast! They seem to be kicking out new versions of everything every 6 months and a lot of people are getting upset because they feel like they just got their computer and a new version has replaced it in a matter of months. This is understandable, but for Apple to stay on top on the fast paced market the updates must keep coming!
The Mac Pro truly is a monster of a computer and I priced one out for fun and it came out to $22,997.00, but I guess I don’t need 32 gigs of ram, four 300 gig hard drives and two 30inch cinema displays =). A typical build with monitor would probably come in at around $4,000 and don’t forget that AppleCare protection plan!

Congrats on the new computer. That is a monster! A nice monster though. I would think that 22,000 dollar computer would burst into flames with that much stuff in it. LOL! It’s crazy what you are supposed to be able to pack into that tower.
I agree about how frustrating it is that Apple keeps putting new stuff out so fast but I think that’s just the way things are going. Everything is evolving so fast in the computer arena. I don’t see it slowing down any time soon!

Just for the record I didn’t buy one haha, I would never spend 22k on a computer I was just pricing one out for fun. =)
I’m actually looking into getting one of the new iMacs, but I wanna wait to see what is announced at Macworld Expo, which I believe is next week.

That Mac Pro is amazing.
I’m waiting to also see what is announced at Macworld Expo. I’m hoping they’ll announce a net MacBook.

Don’t say never. One day you’ll buy a 22k apple cpu just because you said that. We’ll even 10 years from now that will probably still be a rediculous price unless you start working at Pixar.
Its hard not to have apple hardware dreams though.
