One of the coolest pieces of technology I have seen so far this year is Dell’s new crystal 22-inch widescreen flat panel monitor. The award winning new crystal display took home the highest design honor at the prestigious Consumer Electronics Show (CES Best of Innovations 2008).

The Dell crystal monitor boasts an amazing 1680 x 1050 resolution for amazing detail, fast 2-millisecond (gray to gray) response time, a built in 2-megapixel web camera and integrated speakers just to name a few things.

The Tempered glass, highly polished metal tripod stand and overall sleek look of this new monitor make chills run up my spine. It makes me feel good knowing Dell is putting a lot of thought into the design of the monitor as well as the parts inside it.

Although the monitor is a bit pricey, everything comes down in price eventually and I look forward to seeing what else they produce in the next few years.
