Godly Desk for Designers

News   February 8, 2008  by

This sleek, modern, designer’s dream come true of a desk better know as “MILK” makes me drool! As soon as I saw it my jaw dropped and that was before I even read about all the cool features it has. The desk has 4 customizable sections on the left hand side that can server a variety of purposes.

The website shows them being used as storage compartments, a trash bin, pencil holder and even a fish tank just to name a few things! The desk truly does a great job at keeping the work space clean and clutter free.

The cable drawer in the back, combined with the cable exit hole and a compartment up front for paper work really make this desk a modern masterpiece. If that wasn’t enough you can even adjust the height of the desk electrically via a button to achieve an optimal level of comfort while working.

All you need now is a bad ass chair and you will be totally in the zone while you are creating your own masterpieces. I’m afraid to ask how much this desk costs so maybe one of you can find out for me. =) All I know is that this desk is pure design perfection.

Their product’s website is also rather amazing and it was designed by in2media.com

Nice design, but it looks like it’d be ergonomically, er, ‘challenging’ to use for long stretches. Cool idea, questionable utility.

I think I’m going to die if I don’t have that desk….drooooool! Thanks for bringing to one’s attention.

If I get one shall I post it in my blog so you can all feel sick inside ;)

When I convert my cellar to an office, I’ve been mulling over what sort of desk and furniture, and was definitely going to have something white along with white walls to mitigate the effect of the low ceiling.

I was thinking sort of ‘New England style’ wooden white furniture, but now I’ve seen this….I must find the price tag!

Amanda – As a designer I love all areas of design as well including interior design and I think people can be much more healthy and productive if they are working in a nice environment.

I look forward redoing my office as well.

Pricey little thingy ehhh, costs a mere $4700 USD…(#irony#) Oh, wait, I thought I saw 5 grand lying around undir my bed. Incredibly handsome little fellow that desk but the price is a little over my budget, I think I could DESIGN a similar one that wouldn’t cost me as much. But seriously – drool. Hopefully my MBP didn’t see me drooling over something that it deserves so emphatically.
