My passion is social media, I love finding new unique content and brining it to the masses through sites like Digg or Stumble. I’m also fascinated by the fact that only one user from a popular social media site can bring in up to 50,000 views with just few clicks.

My passion is walking through nature and freezing its beauty through the art of photography.

Well, if I’m honest, I have three major passions: design, maths and music; without them, I don’t think my life would sum up to much. Without sounding cliché, I get a drug-like buzz from observing a quality piece of design, the way the colours intertwine with the image(s) and/or typography and invoke a feeling of awe that thus makes me want to go and create something fresh and innovative, as an outlet of the explosion of imagination I get.
My passion for maths is slightly more reserved than for design, but it’s still very important to me. To many, maths is nothing more than numbers and symbols, with the occasional letter, but to me it’s existence and beyond. The way a letter can represent a whole equation and yet still behave like a number and obey the basic laws of numbers fascinates me no end. Maths is around us everyday, whether we notice it or not. The buildings we see in the street, how much we pay for food in the shop, telling the time, all those simple actions require an element of maths. Maths can also seep into the world of design, through physical mediums, such as architecture and construction, and digital mediums such as fractal art and vector art, which without the help of a French mathematician, there would be no Bezier curves.
My final passion is music. It’s my main inspiration for design. It keeps me going, whether I’m depressed or ecstatic. No matter how you feel or what you are doing, music will always invoke a feeling in you, love or hate. All it takes is a well constructed beat and I’m sucked in to a world of drums, pianos and violins, merged in with a myriad of vocals. Sometimes, a song can be so good, I wish it would last forever. With this feeling I get, I try as hard as I can to emulate it though means of art and design, to show others what music does for me, and I hope I do it justice.

What a generous contest! Those wallets are really nice! And thanks for the discount code too, I never shop without them!
I’m at a pretty “generic” point of my life when it comes to passions but it comes from the heart. I have four little ones of whom we have chosen to home educate. Right now my passion is doing the best I can to help them become happy and well rounded adults.

After design (or maybe up there with it), my passion in life is dance! There’s nothing like closing your eyes to the music and letting your body go. It’s an art form that is very human which is very pleasant after staring at a monitor all day in solitude. I think another reason I am so passionate about dance is because it truly is the most liberating thing. It’s the only way I can temporarily free myself of my obsessive compulsive ways!
I don’t dance any specific genre, but I do know salsa quite well. It becomes an addiction after a while
My most recent addiction has been So You Think You Can Dance. Very inspiring dances. Check this group dance out on YouTube!!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g1g9UTrS_S4

My passion is simply art, camera, paintbrush, pencil or tablet, as soon as that first stroke darts across the canvas the world around me fades away.
Jacob Cass | February 21st, 2008
Graphic Design and anything to do with design in general is my number one passion and as of late, blogging is another passion.
I also like getting down to the beach here in Oz. I also like dance music and going to clubs.
Thanks for the contest! Good luck all.

my passion in life is my passion of dreaming…dreaming of doing this…dreaming of doing that…changing this…changing that….may not be real but somehow encourage me to pursue whatever passion I want….
Boomstein - Absinthian Designer | February 21st, 2008
Absinthe - the spirit of artists - and graphic design are my two major passions. I can’t get enough of both, and they go together so well.
There’s nothing better for me than to sip a glass of the green fairy’s spirit while working on an intrinsic design, with some light opera music in the background.

My biggest passion is web development. I really like the idea of pushing and pulling pixels to bend them to my will. Luckily for them, I’m a benevolent dictator.

My passion in life is life itself. I do everything I can to the fullest and am trying to experience as much as possible in the time that I am given on this planet.
Matt | February 21st, 2008
My passion in life is my passion for life. I want to take everything that exists in the world and give it to people through art. I take what I see and present it with my emotion.
Matthew Suber | February 21st, 2008
My passion is to see things through. Once I feel like I have a good idea my passion becomes for that idea to become real. That can be a design, business plan, or even as simple as a making a meal. There’s nothing like having something come from your head and in time end up in your hands.

My Passion, the challenge, to change, the water, the light, the colour, the smell & the flavour, the known & and the hidden places, To touch and be touched, the noise we call music, the food, the games: the clever aand the silly .You, you & I , you & I and the rest of the things that I like.
MediaMisfit | February 21st, 2008
I believe that there are greater ideas out there that encompass passion better than just naming one singular practice. Combining different practices to develop a greater good or facilitate a positive effect on a singular or multiple societies is where I think passion comes from.
There is a place for fine detail but a larger picture always gets me more excited. In this case I’m going to have to say that growing ideas is my passion.

Automotive Racing. If it has a motor and can be raced, Im interested in it. So much in fact, that I not only race in several different organizations, but also organize and host grassroots races all across the southeast. It doesn’t pay any money, but it gives others who love to race and place to do so and gets them off the streets. Its a win-win.

my passion is without a doubt story-telling. i love the momentum built up in a good story. and the final conclusion will be equally rewarding. that in combination with my penultimate goal, making someone laugh. that is why i tell stories.

My passion is colors. Physics of colors. I know one place at park in my town, where street lamp glowing with standart yelllow color. But green leafs from trees behind give this light intresting advantage. Green are ‘mirror’ color for red, so street lamp’s yellow light saturating with this red and u will see unique color that i called ’soft-grapefruit’. Colors, our vision - is a base of our lifes.

My passion is designing for the web and using an internet browser as nothing less of the purest of canvases. There are no limits.
And those are some damn fine wallets.

My passion in life is challenges. If it interests me in being a goal, and I have a talent or at some point discover I have a talent, I go for the biggest dream I can possibly think in that area and go for it. I don’t get discouraged in not achieving it because I know I likely won’t, and that I’m doing it because I’m loving the challenge of it. Some of these challenges have been overcoming Paranoid Schizophrenia (with medical treatment and therapy I’m often not even conscious anymore of any symptoms requiring therapy anymore), getting a career I enjoy and that makes a lot (getting there, with Certificates and self training in Graphic Arts, Web Development, practice with poetry writing, learning marketing, learning publishing, and basically being an all-in-one poetry/art anthology publisher, designer and web designer… one day I’ll actually make profit, even starving artists can dream), and, the dream I’ve had since I was a little kid, to make the world we live in a pleasant, violence-free and poverty-free place (one little gift of kindness at a time, and philosophically spreading the dream… I’m sure the poverty-free part will likely just be health-conscious and hunger-free if I were to analyze the fact that poverty is relative to the rich).

My passion is trying to make people’s days. I love doing small things to make people smile or turn their chin up. Holding the door or smiling to say hello can make someones day, and I love doing it, probably because I love it when it happens to me.
Roza | February 22nd, 2008
My passion is to open, pick and tingle peoples mind so they could think more openly about issues like sexual orientation, racism and other issues though my design. I want to wash away peoples selfishness for a minute and get them to think about other peoples. And of course create designs which will give people warmth, happiness and hope. I want the world to be a better place.

Its a strive to constantly try and see things in a new way. At times its a struggle falling on my ass and trying to get back up again. Passion is this life and hoping that in the end I can look back and smile.

Diversity is a passion of mine, and it manifests itself in many ways. The one that gets my heart beating the fastest is competition rock crawling with my 1997 Jeep wrangler outfitted to crawl over rocks, boulders and other obstacles. Being in the elements of mother nature and testing my vehicle to its limits, helps me to explore the outer edges of my own personal boundaries. This exploration transforma me and I become more diverse in experiences.

My passion is optimism. And I have to work so hard at this!!!
Through my optimism, I am able to delve into any design project at hand with a smile on my face, and an honest curiosity of just how far I can push myself!

As the plane began preparing its ascent, the cabin crew requested that the passengers read the double-sided A4 leaflet informing us of plane safety and emergency procedures. Unlike the rest of the passengers, who were reading the instructions for emergency landings or checking that their life jacket was under their seat, I was, instead, quietly criticising the typography and layout of the leaflet, sharing my thoughts with my brother who clearly had no interest in what I was saying. This is because graphic design is more than a hobby or a subject I study. It is my passion, and has integrated its way into my everyday life.

My passion? My passion is photography. I love to see people smile, I love to seize and capture that moment, that little glince, imortalized forever on a piece of paper. It just gives my life sense, it just makes up for everything bad I see around me, and gives me strengh to go on.

My passion is to just learn to enjoy life again. In the past seven years I have had to quit work because of disability caused by severe arthritis, suffered a platelet disorder leading to nearly fatal blood poisoning caused by the treatment. Then I had liver failure and was given six months to live by a quack who never mentioned the possibility of transplants. After finding a new doctor, with the grace of God and the skill of the good people at MAYO Jacksonville, this March will be four years with a new liver. Tragically, after all this, I unexpectedly lost the love of my life two years ago.
Now, except for the arthritis, I am in amazingly good health. My passion is to learn to live and enjoy life instead of just existing with physical pain from arthritis or the depression from losing my wife.

I was once interviewed for a design position at a Christian college. They asked me at the end of the interview what my beliefs are. I thought for a second then said, “I believe in good design.”

My passion has to be helping people. I originally went to school to be a doctor after I survived cancer because by default it was the only thing I could thing of to “pay back” some sort of “cosmic debt” that I owed the universe for keeping me alive. While in the hospital, the funny thing was I redesigned the handbook that the hospital gave cancer patients when they first enter the program there. It was at that point I began to realize that I didn’t need to be a doctor to be able to touch peoples lives. I could pour my heart and soul into communicating ideas and concepts through my love of design.

My passion is photography! I can block out everything and feel totally at peace with everything when I am taking pictures. I love being able to take pictures of people that “think” they look horrible in pictures and showing them that everyone can look good. It is all about putting people at ease. I could take pictures all day long! ~
Thanks for a VERY nice giveaway!

My passion is to enjoy my life…
Because there are people somewhere in the world that wish they could live just a little longer.
Because I am fortunate to have the things I have.
Because I love my life and I am glad that I am alive.
AssEyeDee | February 25th, 2008
My passion is music and to express my emotions to the people that listen to my music and indentify with my lyrics.

I have two passions that excite me equally. I love to play my guitar; I spend time on it every day and jam with my friends almost every weekend. I also love to play sports, any kind, but especially football.
Jeff Portaro | February 25th, 2008
My wife. She backs me in everything I do. When I pitched the idea to her 4 months ago that I wanted to start doing freelance work more steadily she jumped at it and pushed me even more. She pushes me in my faith, my day to day, my creative direction, and my passion. Without having a good support to what you love to do (in this case, design) it makes things tough. Having her be my passion that supports my other passion means the world to me.
- Also, I am ashamed I haven’t found this blog before until today. This Is a great resource!

Cooking. Almost to a ccompulsive level. Blue Cheese cut with butter on top of a steak crusted with pepper and fresh rosemary. Adding a few slices of real cheese to the kids Easy Mac to make it cheesier. Adding some fresh cilantro to the top of the chili that was a good use of a pork shoulder. Every time food is made there is a chance to make it better.
After spending 2 days cleaning and cooking for a party that will only last 5 hours I question my sanity. Then the friends arrive and they consume the art. Not just look at it and listen…put it physically into their bodies. That is what I live for, and the expression when it is something they have never tasted before. That is why I do all that damn prep.
They ask why I don’t open a restaurant or catering or something. I beg them off and say the hours aren’t good for a family and I waited tables for years, and the lifestyle is kind of rough. That is what I tell them. Truthfully, I might make a logo bigger and stop running the type sideways for a client, but I will never make bland food.
ever.

My passion is life. I love living life. I love not missing a day of it. No matter what life brings, I am excited to live it because I know I only have one chance for this life.
I have so many interests it’s hard to list them all without forgetting a handful every time. For the most part, you could say I was into anything artistic. Whether it be singing for my rock band Court Jester, swing dancing at the studio or creating print advertisements for the ad agency I work for, I am always up to something with a bit of creative power behind it.
I also enjoy the outdoors. Boating, tennis, golf, biking, Frisbee, throwing the football around, playing catch, walking, picnics, even making snow angels in the winter. Am I going to far into my life, does it sound scattered to you? It isn’t. I fill my life with the things I love, and I leave nothing on the table in doing it.
Finally, I love shopping too. I know, I’m a guy who loves shopping. But picking up a new shirt or pair of awesome jeans or even a super cool new DB Clay wallet would just make my day. And winning one might even be cooler!
So, let’s live life together with one of those awesome new wallets!

Passion is my passion…without it there would be no sense for me. I am passionate about everything…the 5 inches of snow that fell last night that made the commute a mess, the angry client that doesn’t understand print and insists his printer is better at outputting images from the internet..girl scout cookies….the toothless smile of a happy baby…the glimmer in my father’s blue eyes that I miss seeing so much…passion is my passion.

I’m passionate about inspiring and instigating a more passionate life for all of those around me, to stick my finger into the dull mainstream soul, and stir things up.
Benji | February 27th, 2008
My passion is Edutainment. I believe education should be fun, entertaining and inspiring. I believe that edutainment sparks a desire and passion in every individual towards life-long learning.
Abigail | February 27th, 2008
My passion in life is to know Jesus Christ and to share Him with others. He loved me and died for me (and everyone else in the world!), that my sins might be forgiven and I can know I will spend eternity in heaven. I owe Him everything and desire to share with others what a difference He has made in my life. Jesus is the only source of true joy and fulfillment and satisfaction in life. He is the Author of all creativity, love, and beauty. My goal is to let others see Him through me, by sharing graphics, music, print media, writing, and whatever other doors He opens. It’s a wonderful life.
joe | February 28th, 2008
My passion is the music of John Coltrane, the art of Andy Warhol and hard drugs. I also enjoy hard drugs.
