Every time you examine another design your absorb a little bit of that design. Designers are walking visual sponges and everything we create samples from what we’ve experienced and seen in life.
Adobe has just released an online application called Photoshop Express which is basically a smaller version of Photoshop geared towards photo editing. It is not as extensive as Photoshop obviously, but it is online and free! Some of the features include resize, tint, distort, red eye removal and much more. You can also ad effects to your photos such as pop color, sketch, hue, black & white and so on.

Famfamfam.com is known for its free icons and these 3 sets have been around for a while. If you haven’t come across these free computer icons, flag icons and web icons you don’t know what you are missing! These are probably the three most useful free icons sets I have ever come across. They are well executed and can be applied to many design projects. Enjoy the free icons!

The U-Printing International Poster Design Competition Vector Round has ended! We had an incredible amount of amazing entires ( over 125 entires ) and I want to thank everyone who participated. Our panel of judges will now being the voting process and once the votes come in from our judges we will announce the winners in a post and list them on the contest home page.
