You (the designer) no longer need to worry about front-end coding and browser compatibility issues! leave it up to markup4u.com to take your designs and convert them into a custom sliced WordPress theme or table-less xhtml/css template. The markup they provide is cross-browser compatible, SEO optimized and W3C valid!

Win a $175 to Credit Markup4u.com!
Markup4u was kind enough to offer a $175 credit that can be used for a slicing job, equivalent to one page slicing. This is perfect if you have a one page portfolio site you need to bring to life! To win this $175 credit prize, simply leave a comment below telling us what type of site you would use this for. I will announce a winner Thursday, July 3rd!

Well, I’ll use the credit to slicing a new design for http://detenlos.org , it a project to fitht against the pedophilia and the child abuse on the Internet. The surfers can denounce that kind of websites and we would do the rest (email ISP, Hosters, Servers, Police in some cases or countries, etc.). Right now I’m having some problems with the webserver, but it would be online ASAP.

I would use this on my personal site, I am looking to start freelancing to support myself over the next year, I have made websites in the past but coding has never been my strong suit, I have basic HTML knowledge and began learning CSS awhile ago but really don’t remember much. I have been designing graphics using programs such as photoshop, flash, and even 3d programs like cinema 4d, since age 12. I’m 18 now and want to do it professionally so this would be a great help in launching my career.
However like I said, coding was never my strong suit, I am getting closer and closer to having the design for my site finished and I would love to have a page coded for free so I can look at the code myself and learn how to correctly, and cleanly code a website. This would be a great learning experience and I could learn how the different elements of certain aspects of my website work so I can apply it to future clients websites that I design.

i wrote a book of poetry and artwork that i wrote while living with and recovering from severe anorexia and bulimia, in hopes that maybe my work will be inspiration to others suffering to recover themselves. if i won, i would finally finish the website for the book, so i can start getting it out into the world. i only have time to do my paid work, so anything for that website i have to do in my free time, which i haven’t had in ages.
