Photoshop User is a great magazine for Adobe Photoshop users featuring step-by-step tutorials, time saving tips and awesome quick tips.
Graphic Design USA is the leading design business magazine and is a great resource for freelance designers and studio owners.
Juxtapoz is a killer arts and culture magazine that features artists, photographers, product designs and more.
Another gold mine for designers, Layers Magazine is packed full of tutorials, articles, reviews and tons of other great content.
Beautiful/Decay is a great source for anyone interested in the hottest new artests around. This magazine is perfect for anyone interested in the underground art and desgin community.

Greetings!!
I was listening to one of my many graphic design podcasts recently, and the host mentioned to seek out graphic design “trade” magazines. He said they are normally very cheap if any cost at all, and it is a good place for designers to get their feet wet as the competition isn’t as intense.
Is there any validity to this comment, and if so where is a good place to seek them out.
Your advice and opinions are much appreciated!!

There is some really cool and artistic illustration designs on the juxtapoz site, definitely worth taking a look at. Also really good for filling your head with lots of creative possibilities.

Nice list. You have a couple of the ones I like there that are imported from England. I always hated how they would cost me an arm and a leg if I wanted a subscription though(I like getting things in the mail). But oh well, they are still great.
