#11, while an excellent book (it changed my life, in fact) and definitely a “must have,” is not a book about graphic design or inspiration.

Not quite sure how Naomi Klein’s ‘No Logo: No Space, No Choice, No Jobs’ got on this list. Seeing as it has nothing to do with the actual act of designing a logo really. Other than that, nice list Gino.

I have “The Big Book of Logos” and it has come in very handy during the initial brainstorming part of logo design when I have a slight case of designer’s block.

For an online reference, I go to Logo Pond (http://www.logopond.com) for ideas and inspiration as well.

Are those really all “must haves”? If you had to boil it down to just three, which would they be?

Also, you might want to check google Dan Antonelli and check out his books.

    Great post!

I am a big fan of “Marks of Excellence.” It is great because it doesn’t just show a bunch of logos, it explains why the logos are good. It describes what common visual elements make up a great logo.
