I would use it as my personal graphic design portfolio site! I could really use something like this to spice my website up. Pick me! Pick me!

  2. Arvin   -   April 17, 2009 at 7:58 am

I am an animator, web designer, motion graphics artist, and graphic designer, so my portfolio is my first impression to most people. I do so many different things all at once, and I need a nice, clean, expandable site that I don’t waste days of my life updating and designing. I want to focus on my work.

This template would really boost my online cred! It looks perfect, I can showcase tons of different types of media (video, images), notes and annotations, and it’s totally expandable.

  3. webbografico   -   April 17, 2009 at 7:59 am

I will surely use this great template for my portfolio online

  4. Milan   -   April 17, 2009 at 8:49 am

This flash template would be great for my new site! Thanks!

  5. Nicole   -   April 17, 2009 at 8:52 am

I’m in the process of upgrading my flash site (it needs some major help). This template would give me a great starting point to inspire my site. It would be cool to see the actionscript and how they organized the site so I would learn a lot as well.

  6. Lee Christopher   -   April 17, 2009 at 9:37 am

I would love to incorporate Flash into my online portfolio. Pick Me! Pick Me! Pick Me!

  8. Jay Doh   -   April 17, 2009 at 10:15 am

First comment – wow. OK..Here hoes.. I love this template! It’s super clean – well thought out – the UI is spot on – the site is lightweight and responsive.

I would use the template for showing the world what I am working on as my personal portfolio. I do a lot of print, paintings, Illustrations, motion graphics + photography. I am passionate about my craft and I have a love for design that will never die.

I feel like I would also learn a lot from this source file also, as I noticed that the site is deep link enabled – very cool. This would let me get busy with creating beautiful content to fill the site which is what I love doing anyway. If you chose to give me this template – I would commit to creating a new piece for it every week which I would then invite you to check back on and see how I’m doing. I believe that actions speak louder than words and I believe in show – don’t tell. I would prefer to let my designs speak for me.

I love this site too by the way – its a fantastic layout and the execution is spot on.

So in conclusion – if you chose to give the template to me – I would make good use out of it by filling it with lots of beautiful content in a wide variety of digital media used today.

    Thank you kindly,
    Jay

  13. E11World   -   April 18, 2009 at 1:34 am

I would use this as a base for most (if not all) my future flash website projects. The way the website works with all the beautiful typography, deep linking, and how easy it is done (customized). This would be like a fresh start for my up-coming flash websites.

    Thank you for providing this!

very nice template, i would use it for my portfolio and online cv as i’m leaving college in about 53 days time and a nice template like that would look great – would need to get my head round the fancy code though!

  16. Lindsey   -   April 18, 2009 at 6:09 am

If I won the Aspen Flash template, I’d use it for our non-profit film and art school we pioneered that offers free CG modeling, video camera, lighting, & editing skills for at-risk youth.

I would share this with all the hungry children one-legged children of the world to document our crusade as we band together to fight cancer and save the B.C. spotted owl from extinction.

  19. idntt   -   April 18, 2009 at 8:51 pm

  20. Danelle Bourgeois   -   April 18, 2009 at 10:46 pm

I am a design and would love to learn how to use a quick and easy editable flash site asap to upgrade my portfolio and photography site. Typography and clean grid structures are super appealing to me – this template has it all! I’m very keen to learn Flash and this template would be a great help in that! Pick meee!

  21. Emanuel   -   April 19, 2009 at 1:06 am

This is a very nice idea!! Being a graphic desinger I never really liked writing code, even though I am trying to learn how to use dreamweaver. These templates look really smart and professional.

I have samples of my work on different sites, like one for graphics and a different for photography.. I think this template will be a great opportunity to put them all together in a single website so I can have that as a main portfolio site.

I love the idea of giving away a free template, hope you have more like this in the future.

    Cheers.
    Emanuel, London.

  22. TASARIM   -   April 19, 2009 at 1:32 am

  24. EL CODIGO DE BARRAS   -   April 19, 2009 at 4:43 am

Well; I got a children´s blog named http:// http://www.gominolasdigitales.com I want to change his face jumping to next blog level; I mean as you see my children´s blog got no advertising´, in this case with no profit motive in mind; is just an funny place for children.

  25. Lars Christensen   -   April 19, 2009 at 6:10 am

I just created my own little company called The Sign – I would love to have a flash page because it looks more professionel – but my flash skills are limited to small banners and animations. So the page would be used to showcase my portfolio.

  26. Steve Harrell   -   April 19, 2009 at 6:19 am

I teach a high school web design course, and this template would be a way to show my students “one more way” of doing business. Most of our study is in Dreamweaver, but we spend time in Flash, which brings out the creativity in some students and frustration in others. “Safe Flash” sounds like a great addition. All of my students are required to subscribe to your site (and other sites) as part of their coursework.

  27. Brett   -   April 19, 2009 at 12:52 pm

with this template I would create a website that would end world hunger, destroy all nuclear warheads, and generate world peace via the following actionscript

    on(release){
    WorldPeace(“Now”, “_blank”);
    }

  28. Brendon Law   -   April 19, 2009 at 2:47 pm

Gotta be in it to win it! I love the simplicity and obvious ease of use. This is what good design means to me. We are launching a small (3 designers) graphic design studio (bolt-on) here in small town New Zealand in the next 2 months and would make great use of this template. The co-directors would be impressed with this template – if I don’t win I will run it by them regardless. Thanks!

  29. nana   -   April 19, 2009 at 4:17 pm

I do not have a website! Is a good start for me!!! Pick me :)
    Thanks in advance :p

  30. Cheap Flash Designer   -   April 19, 2009 at 10:48 pm

I will use it for my personal web site and obviously for some clients who specifically ask for web sites with flash. I would love using it and earn some cash along with the client’s satisfaction.

  31. Richard S Davies   -   April 20, 2009 at 2:33 am

I absolutely love the WarmForest templates, but this one is the best, and I would bloody well love to get a copy. I have been learning AS3 for nearly 2 months now, and would love to see how Jay does it.

  32. Mike   -   April 20, 2009 at 3:04 am

I’d use it as a base to put up portfolio website. It would save me a lot of time in coding/designing which I could instead use to do client work.

  33. Donald R. Anderson   -   April 20, 2009 at 6:15 am

I definitely could use the template to get a good start on making Flash websites, since most of the job listings seem to require Flash programming, I could get experience from customizing it and instead of having to self-teach myself good design I’d have a good guide for it.

  34. Cedric   -   April 20, 2009 at 7:48 am

I would like this template for 2 reasons, which are:
    - Learning the source behind it.
    - Having a Profesional look at a site.

  35. ilse   -   April 20, 2009 at 8:53 am

I would really love to use this template as a starting point for my Dad’s website. I haven’t been able to design one for him yet, but I like this style, very professional, clean, straight forward, user-friendly. Good for showing projects and details about them too, could get a good SEO use.

  36. Frank Pellon   -   April 20, 2009 at 11:05 am

Id use it to be able to finally start freelancing so i can make some cash to help my family out! Pick me!

I always want to try flash template for my personal portfolio so this time this giveaway opportunity give me a chance try out the Aspen Flash Template ability.

  47. SaraMac   -   April 22, 2009 at 3:57 am

I’d dissect, vivisect, and inspect. I fell away from flash a few years back and find the new adaptability of the format to be intriguing, but hard to get back into.

  48. stephanie   -   April 22, 2009 at 6:42 am

    please, please pick me!

  49. Riaan Mostert   -   April 22, 2009 at 7:51 am

At the moment I’m using a flash template for my site which took me months to edit and i’m still not done customizing it. The Aspen flash template is very clean and professional which could bring new life to my site… and ultimately help me to take over the world… (add scary laugh)

  50. AMX   -   April 23, 2009 at 1:48 am

I pimp up my page. I deserve it. Don’t I? Please? Pretty please? Do I need to beg?

  52. Simon   -   April 23, 2009 at 2:49 am

This competition could not have come at a better time. I have recently been diagnosed with a rare mental deficiency in the Source lobe. While I can learn to live with the inability of walking down the street without doing ‘The Worm’ every fifth step, my new-found incomprehension with using Flash will certainly destroy any hope I had of making an online presence (other than on compilations of funky-walking people on Youtube, but that may not necassarily gain me employment in the design industry).

  53. Ariyo   -   April 23, 2009 at 7:46 am

I would so use this for my design portfolio. Thanks for the opportunity.

  54. Todd   -   April 24, 2009 at 9:56 am
