This is great. I wrote David not that long ago and asked for advice about SEO and website submission. He said the same thing as above – that promotion to all the many sites can just be a needless waste of time. Focusing on quality content and not expecting overnight results is key. There is a cumulative effect to your brand and your writing, and nothing can circumvent the process of writing, which is simply work. Nothing circumvents quality work on a post, and David’s blog is proof of that.

Cool interview! Personally I’m a big fan of David’s work and blog. I really like the logo design processes on his blog. He gives some nice pointers by the way in the interview .
