33 Examples of Inspiring Website Footer Designs

Inspiration   March 29, 2010  by

The footer in a web design appears at the bottom of a page and is often ignored since the content is the main focus. However, designers should not ignore this part of a website since the total presentation of a web design creates a long lasting impression to the visitor. In several sites that I have visited, designers have found techniques that distinguish their website from all the rest with inspiring footer designs. These 33 Examples of Inspiring Website Footer Designs are some truly artistic samples. Browse the collection and come up with great ideas for your own footer design. Enjoy browsing the designs and start thinking of ideas for your own layouts.

What a neat collection! There should be more posts on footers, because I think it ads that little bit of beauty into any website. :)

Very inspiring collection of website footer designs. This is a great post for anyone who wants to make their site footers stand out. I think my favourites have to be spoon graphics and amuki. Thanks for taking the time to share these.

Great list this demonstrates that the design should go from the header through to the footer and especially when there are lots of content to squeeze into the footer, this post just demonstrates that you don’t need to hide the content, but to make a special area and add emphasis, as there are some really fun and exciting footers above.
