Rust often signifies age and dirt that others may not want to have in their work. With designers, however, rust is viewed in a different aspect. Most especially if the rustiness can be used or applied as material for design projects, depending on its style and the projects’ goals.

There are some really gross looking textures (good for video games). The smell of rust on rotten aging steel ships… reminds me of my summer job.

This collection of rusty textures is cool! I was really using vintage designs like old papers and rocks, never thought of rust. I have an idea now that I can apply rust for my porfolios and books.
