This is an interesting collection of works so thanks for sharing them. Some of them really do capture the feel and essence of what a film poster should be. The composition, the use of imagery and the distinct use of text, all add to making something that captures the eye, exactly what a film poster should do.

On the other hand however, there are those that are more abstract and perhaps relate more to gallery posters. These in themselves tend to stand out more as pieces of art, and certainly make the viewer think. Taking an example from above, the DREAM poster which falls into both the film poster and artwork categories, has a depth to it and is created in such a way that it allows viewers to let their imaginations run riot as to what it could mean. This more than anything really brings posters to life and gives them a real purpose.
