Metaphor for the night sky: A trillion asterisks and no explanations. ~Robert Brault
Night photography is an interesting craft that lets people see the beauty in darkness. Or more to the point, it enhances what light is available, creating a magical connection between light and dark. (And I’m probably going to turn into a poet if I’m exposed longer to nightscapes and all these wonderful stuff. Really, the night sky has inspired many poets and artists…for good reason.)
Such work can be taken by using natural light or long exposure. Often taken outdoors, these photographs are taken with precision and skill, not to mention the right equipment. After all, there is a relatively low level of light in such a setting, and it’ll take effort to capture as much light as possible.
