The Search Engine with Good Taste
We’ve seen different kinds of search engines on the internet the past decade – but all of them have not served graphic designers whole-heartedly. Google may have improved its image search functions, but it’s not as we’d want it to.
But fret no more my dear friends, there’s a search engine now for graphic designers and for those are looking for quality and beautiful imagery – Niice.co.
Niice.co is a search engine for designers and those who are looking for inspiration. Its current primary image sources are dribble and behance, and are working to get more on board.
TED x Gettyimages
Last week, Getty Images, the world’s leading creators and distributors of multimedia product announced its partnership with TED, the non-profit organization dedicated to empower the world’s most inspired thinkers.
Getty Images, as part of the partnership, will be providing complimentary access to its multimedia gallery – which spans photos, music, and videos to TED2013 and TEDGLobal 2013. The aim of the partnership is to provide creative and inspiration visuals to the creative and inspired thinkers that are attending the TED conferences.
The Alva Emerging Fellowship Program
Behance’s Alva Award has now a new program under its wing – The Alva Emerging Fellowship program. The program aims to provide a seed grant to young creators and inventors that have remarkable potential to innovate and create new products.
