I was looking through the Adobe Design Center recently and noticed they had some really great free resources there! The one that caught my eye the most was the Adobe Video Workshop. The Adobe Video Workshop has dozens and dozens of free video tutorials for 20 different Adobe products. You can find tutorials by selecting one of the 20 products such as Photoshop CS3 or you can find videos by topic such as page layout and design.
Adobe has just released an online application called Photoshop Express which is basically a smaller version of Photoshop geared towards photo editing. It is not as extensive as Photoshop obviously, but it is online and free! Some of the features include resize, tint, distort, red eye removal and much more. You can also ad effects to your photos such as pop color, sketch, hue, black & white and so on.
Famfamfam.com is known for its free icons and these 3 sets have been around for a while. If you haven’t come across these free computer icons, flag icons and web icons you don’t know what you are missing! These are probably the three most useful free icons sets I have ever come across. Autobahn has taken the time to create three cool free fonts called Gelvetica, Tomatica and Heldentica. They have some interesting photos of the font creation process that really give you a sense of how much work actually goes into creating a custom font, let alone three cool free fonts.

As a graphic designer I spend most of my time bettering my self at, well graphic design! The one thing I would love to get better at is coding websites, but I just don’t have the time right now, so I pay a professional to do my coding for me which saves me a lot of time and trouble.
