You! Be Informed! #0029 – M2L Brand Event

News December 8, 2012

American furniture distributor M2L has gained an internationally recognized reputation for presenting fresh and iconic modern design solutions to the American A&D community since 1992. M2L has introduced a myriad of iconic designers that include: Josef Hoffmann, Eileen Grey, Alvo Aalto, Walter Gropius, Eero Aarino and Pierre Paulin, as well as today’s design stars like Paolo Piva, Patrick Norguet, Norman Foster, Eoos, Pearson-Lloyd, Jeff Miller and more.

The latest addition to this roster of artists is the award-winning furniture designer Manfred Petri. Petri is a well-recognized artist in the field of modular casegoods and systems products. His most notable work includes the Petri Furnishings, Petri CaseSystem and the Triuna Collection which were distributed by Geiger – a furniture manufacturer based in Atlanta, GA, where he worked as the company’s design director for 10 years.

In 1990, Petri established his own design practice, offering product, display and graphic design services to the furniture design industry. And next week, he’ll be in New York City to launch a new collection of architectural cabinetry at M2L’s NYC showroom on December 13, 2012.

M2L has prepared a casual breakfast between 8:30am to 10:30am for those who are interested to attend this event. There will be no formal remarks so anyone can attend the event at whatever time works for their morning schedule. Manfred Petri will also be in town all day to talk about the design process and answer any questions attendees may have.M2L has also offered to set up one-on-one interviews with Petri for those who can’t make it in the morning.

Moreover, the event will also be a nice opportunity to catch up on other product news from M2L including designs that were launched at Orgatec to the introduction of the Gebrüder T 1819 in the U.S.

If you would like to go to this event, you can RSVP back to Kristin Coleman or just send them an email to let them know that you’ll be attending.
